Think about the following questions.
What do you like doing? What makes you smile the most? What do you find yourself always doing in your free time?
If you have the answers to these questions, great! If not, I encourage you to really think. Even go as far as thinking back to your childhood. Of course we grow older and find other interests, so playing with toys probably wouldn’t be your passion.
But what about helping mom and dad cook for dinner? What about cutting or styling your hair even when you know you weren’t supposed to? Were you the one who helped your classmate with their school work? What about the student who loved to read books? Or the person that always made stuff such as color spinners or paper airplanes?
What did you buy with your money as a kid or a teenager with no job? What were you known for in school? What did people always ask you about?
What did you lack confidence in? Your passion can also be hidden in your flaws.
I really want you to open your mind to those questions because their is a very high chance that your passion is hidden in there.
If you’re still undecided. I encourage to try new things. Really step out your comfort zone and try new hobby’s. Something easier, is to see what you like about your favorite YouTuber or favorite blogger.
Take notes and see what the two of you have in common.
What are my passions?
- I have a strong passion for business (behind the scenes) and entrepreneurship in general.
**I’ve had 6 jobs as of 2020 and each one has brought me closer to wanting to work for myself and provide my own schedule and flexibility.
- I have a true passion for helping, teaching, and empowering others.
** I have this passion especially for younger girls and women. Especially because I didn’t realize when I was little, how important it was to have someone to look up to and be willing to help you grow, be confident in life, and love who you are.
It may take a while to find your passion. You may have more than one like me. It may be easy to develop a passion that’s not really yours because you are so eager to figure it out. So take your time, pray about it, try different things, and step out your comfort zone. Those are some of the things I did to discover my passions. I hope this helps.
