Pattern for Bonnets

I used 12 by 12 for the size above, you can get a better visual on my YouTube video.

MATERIALS: Four sheets of paper, Tape of choice, Marker or Pencil, Any string that can be wrapped around marking tool, a ruler, and scissors

A visual of how I connected the dots and cut out the pattern piece can be briefly seen in the video; duration ( 1:20 to 1:44 ). (The tutorial is linked below). Also I have now created a detailed video on my YouTube channel on how to create your own bonnet pattern, and it can be found by clicking here.

Click Here for the link on How to Sew a Satin or Silk Bonnet Tutorial.

This pattern can be used over and over again. I suggest making all sizes in advance so that you can have them on hand and will not have to repeat these steps each time.

Although the bonnet above is the same color on both sides it is still reversible. If you want to make it reversible with two different colors, reduce your fabric fold from 3 to 2 folds. Don’t worry, I have more tutorials to come. If you’d like me to make a reversible bonnet with two different colors leave a comment below or under my YouTube video. If you’ve completed this pattern and/or your project already GREAT JOB, i’m proud of you! Don’t forget to share with a friend so they can experience this feeling too.
